With this tutorial I will teach you how to make a photograph look as if torn into pieces using PhotoShop.

Step 1: Pick any image and place it on your Photoshop canvas.

Step 2: Make a duplicate copy of this layer by selecting the Duplicate Layer option from the Layer Menu. This we do since the Background layer is locked and in order to do some changes we need to unlock it.

Step 3: Now select the Polygonal Lasso Tool from the Tool bar or through its shortcut key L as shown below.

And now make a selection on your photograph as i have done in my photograph below.
